It was finally a gorgeous autumn day. We got up early, and got in our cars early, to get to the apple picking right when it opened.

And as soon as we got there they had a notice that they were shut due to Covid – when they had been open not too long before. So trying to make the best out of the day, we drove around until we found a genuine farm where you could pick fresh produce. We walked around, got some veggie, and a big bag of apples. Having spent many a time on a farm, I felt right at home with the abandoned cars, tractor, and the rows and rows of produce. I miss this.
