Last Friday was my darling girl’s birthday. She got a special breakfast made, got some treats after school, and then we went out for dinner to Food Truckin’ Fridays. It’s an event that happens most Fridays where a parking lot not too far from us get overtaken by many food trucks and a DJ. She loved it!

I wanted to go because a friend has a Cuban coffee truck there – Little Havana Cafe – and who doesn’t want a great Cuban espresso, am I right? Make sure you check ’em out all around Toronto.

We’re a bunch of classy ladies, I tell ya! Can’t you tell?

This gorgeous truck with the flag and cute window overhangs is the one you’re looking for folks! Delicious espresso as well as a whole assortment of yummy summer beverages. And someone, not saying who, is really happy about her min chocolate chip ice cream from one of the other trucks.

I had some delicious Asian fusion tacos. Sooooo gooood! But I paid for it later because I didn’t notice it had some dairy in it, and my lactose intolerant tummy hated me later.

That’s my girl. I managed to get some great shots of her this day, by warning her for three days leading up to her birthday that I get to take photos of her on that day. Otherwise, the reaction is an ever stronger version of the one below. Geez, you’d think a photographer’s kid would be more tolerant, but nope!
