Last week I had the pleasure of joining Andrew on one of his business trips – this time to Washington DC. He of course, had to work all the days whereas I got to spend a whole bunch of time seeing a new city, wandering, walking, and having a great time. Armed with a backpack, camera, and “The Wolves of Calla” audiobook, I went out into the sights and sounds and museums of DC.

When travelling, the focus is of course on comfort. So a thermal henley and a stretchy bodycon dress were perfect. As was the layering of a sweater and jacket – layer up and layer down as the temperature changes throughout the day, am I right?

Also, I don’t care how comfortable these boots are, after 8 hours of walking around the city my feet were screeeaming!
