Time to come clean. Over the last little while, I’ve been making my way through our health care system because I had some symptoms and it led me to discover a large mass in my neck.
Well, many tests later, I have a diagnosis: Thyroid Cancer. I’ve had my meeting with my surgeon/specialist and we’re moving forward to combat this. I don’t know what my journey will look like. I don’t know what details I will or won’t share. But here I am, and I hope you bare with me in this uncertain time.

And yes, just to get this on the table, also glamorous and beautiful. You must be a fantastic friend, mom, and partner. I wish I could say something that would make this burden easier for you to bear. I’ll try not to act like some parasocial weirdo and pester you too much, but you will definitely, without fail, be in my thoughts.
