These times of lock down, isolation, and distancing are hoard on our psyches. Not just the lack of romantic touch, but we need all sorts of touch. We’re animals. We need familial, romantic, and friendly touch. We need that reiteration that we are loved and wanted in society. I long to hug my friends, and let them know they are loved.
