Picture Overload Alert! My first year at WayHome Music Festival, and it was epic.   Me and one of my dear girlfriends went as we’re both big fans of the line up this year. I wasn’t allowed to bring my DSLR onto the grounds. So apologies for the phone pics and point and shoot pics. Not the usual you’ll find here, but I wasn’t gonna risk having my camera confiscated.Three days of music. Three glorious days of bands and performers.

The first act on the first day were The Struts out of Derbyshire, UK. Amazing. I was looking forward to them so much and their showmanship did not disappoint.

The lead singer has incredible charisma and energy, something like a cross between Mick Jagger and Freddie Mercury. This was how the festival was kicked off and it did not disappoint hereafter.

Of course, with all the great vendors there, I couldn’t help but grab myself a new kimono by Elle Mair co. It’s gold and sparkly with peacocks and hearts.

There were so many stunning things by artisan and local Ontario vendors. It was nice to take a stroll and look at all the pretties when we needed a break from music. The beach that was a thirty minute walk from our campsite was a great distraction too! Since the music didn’t start until the afternoon each day, we had a whole morning to enjoy the stroll and dip before heading in for more great acts.

A pretty necklace from Raw Eco Jewellery *who’s a fellow Spell lover and we so bonded over that* and the setting sun ushered in the cooler evenings and the fabulous light shows.
